‘10=31’
Combining creative thinking, construction, drawing, mechanics and the random nature of the universe.
Every day for the 31 days of October 2019, I created an artwork by following a self-defined process, as part of Inktober.
These works were shown at my 2019 solo exhibition
31 ink artworks or drawings were presented in tandem with video documentation showing how the works were made - usually by a series of actions
The videos were presented in custom-built tiny theatres; the viewer was invited to peer inside each box to discover a screen playing the making process for the artwork. The short videos were programmed to play in a continuous loop.
